Housed in a beautiful church centre in the leafy Grove Park area of Chiswick, the school is light and bright and well resourced, with a secure area for outside play. Children attend three-hour sessions in the mornings or afternoons during term-times, with the opportunity for extended days. Elmwood’s teachers guide the children through all areas of the early years curriculum with sensitivity, care and a shared sense of excitement, and sessions include music, drama, PE and cooking each week.

Established in 1980, and sister school to the Meadows Montessori School, Elmwood is committed to the development of the whole child, and to offering each child the “education for life” which was Maria Montessori’s aim.
